Scaling, staged extractions & lower complete denture

A senior patient from Nikol came in with heavy calculus, periodontally compromised lower teeth, and significant difficulty chewing. Dr. Zalak staged the treatment carefully — starting with deep scaling and oral hygiene stabilisation, followed by planned extractions of non-restorable lower teeth, a two-week healing window, and finally a lower complete prosthesis fitted chairside with bite registration and phonetic trials. The patient walked out on day of delivery eating soft food the same evening.

Dr. Zalak's plan: complete endodontic treatment on the compromised teeth, rebuild the lost structure with fibre post-and-cores, and finish with layered lithium disilicate ceramic crowns (e.max-class) for natural translucency and shade-match. Shades were selected under clinic-neutral lighting against adjacent dentition, and final crowns were cemented on visit three.

2 clinical visits after familiarisation

A young patient from Nikol was brought in by her parents with multiple cavities across her primary molars — a few deep enough to involve the pulp. At Shreeji Dental, pediatric cases run on a behaviour-first protocol: the very first visit is pure familiarisation using tell-show-do, with no instruments in the mouth at all. Once the child was confident and trusting, the actual treatment was staged across two gentle chairside visits — topical numbing, pulpectomy where needed, and stainless-steel crown protection to safely carry the primary teeth through to natural exfoliation. No sedation, no tears, and a child who now asks to come back.

Professional cleaning & stain removal

Ultrasonic scaling, hand polishing & extrinsic stain removal

Single visit, 45 minutes

A young professional came in before a family wedding with surface staining from tea, coffee, and tobacco — but otherwise healthy enamel. A single session of ultrasonic scaling, hand-polishing with fine-grit paste, and extrinsic stain removal. No bleaching was necessary — the natural shade was restored by simply removing what was on top of it.

Before. Before: calculus and extrinsic staining along the gum line and between teeth from tea, coffee, and tobacco use.

After. Same visit, after scaling and polishing — natural tooth shade restored without any bleaching agent.
